Tried updating my debit card; the old one expired. Couldn't do it through the app.
Contacted support, and it's crickets. Several emails to them get ignored, just to update a debit card. Then they disabled my account, sent more emails that got ignored. By this time, I'm just pissed.
Then they deactivated my account. I honestly don't think they even have humans there.
At this point, I'm so fed up. I told them I would leave bad reviews on every platform, and I'm doing so right now.

So my debit card expired July 2025. Wells Fargo replaced it with the same debit card number and just changed the expiration date and security code.
Since I have perfect payment history with them, I was notified my limit has been increased. I go to get it and they say I must update my card info before type money can be sent. I do and its fails numerous time. I tried 3 different devices, uninstalled it and reinstalling and doing a complete boot over my own home network.
Nada.
Funny they were still able to access my account to charge me 3 charges of $4.99 every two weeks for connection fees when my card will not connect. They have ignored every ticket I have opened so Im reporting this to my bank and getting my fees back.

I don't need it anymore; it's just too much, and that’s why I want to close it. It's not working out for me. The problem is with the app.

Changing due date
My name is James Morris the reason why I am sending this message is I am changing my due date for my credit genie account from December 2nd to December 10th December 10th I will make my payment of $114 I will also call my bank and let them know do not let the payment go through until December 10th if the payment does go through before December 10th and it knocks me into a negative status I will take action so I would like my date change to December 10th because that's the next time I get paid or I can very easily call my bank and have my debit card deactivated and have a new one issued and credit genie does not get their payment I expect a response immediately to let me know the date was changed

I cannot log into the app. I haven't been able to since I signed up.
I get a message saying I'm blocked, but yet Credit Genie keeps taking the membership fee from me, and I have no way to cancel it other than cancel my whole bank card.
But yet Credit Genie has my account info too. I need help immediately.

I applied for a $125 payday advance, which they said they sent to my bank account, but I never received it. They also charged me a $17.99 fee for an instant transfer.
I looked in their app, and they charged me $142.99 when I haven't received any of it. I tried to contact customer service, but it is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. What they're doing is considered fraud and illegal. My bank already verified that there was never any transaction for the $125, and I also contacted my bank's fraud department and made them aware of the situation.
So come September 5th, they are going to try and steal $125 of my hard-earned money when in fact they never loaned me a dime, but they claimed they did.
I have been leaving negative reviews on as many websites as I could find about this fraudulent company. Please stay away from this company unless you want to lose a lot of money.

I've been waiting since Monday and today is Thursday.

Stay away from this group. Definitely scammers.
If you feel you must use this company, read the small print twice. The money owed is not taken out on your next payday. It's taken out any time any amount is available, sometimes two days in a row. I do Instacart.
I added a paltry sum to my account to buy a bit of food. I added funds in the store parking lot. I got to the cashier and had zero funds. The same thing was done the day before.
My main pay was to be used for deductions on payday, I assumed. Oh, and of course no phone number and ridiculous 'team' responses.
Don't do it. Many other more ethical services are available.
